Aromatherapy is a treatment designed to help maintain physical, emotional and spiritual
well-being using the correct application of pure essential oils.
The word "aroma" means fragrance or sweet smell and "therapy" simply means a treatment designed to bring about a positive change in an individual.
Aromatherapy treatment seeks to create balance and equilibrium within a person. Its primary use is to calm, uplift, detoxify, de-stress and invigorate.
In other words - to help the body help itself to regain health and well being.
Although many assume aromatherapy is simply a fragrant massage, the real effects of clinical aromatherapy treatments can be deeper and more therapeutic than this.

Nature's own essential oils are manufactured in the leaves of aromatic plants during the process of photosynthesis and then stored within the flower, leaf, fruit or seed, depending on the plant.
They are extracted by a variety of methods, including distillation and expression.

Each essential oil has its own chemical component and therefore its own individual therapeutic properties.

These powerful oils allow qualified aromatherapists to blend them together for clients and produce synergies that give off beautiful aromas, as well as provide natural and safe chemical effects on the body once introduced.
